The Phenie Street Pantry started as a food pantry supported by Superior Essex employees to help feed the neighborhood. This was the first step in becoming a better neighbor to the surrounding community. From there, the pantry grew into a free library. Now, you can find food, clothing, toys, coloring books, and more in our pantries.

Getting Started

Phenie Street Pantry is dedicated to providing food and essential items to those in need in our local community. Our mission is to make sure that everyone has access to the food they need to live a healthy and fulfilling life.

Our organization doesn’t just provide food, but also a sense of community and support to those in need. To exemplify this, two of our employees, Tracey Krouse and Sam Parker, volunteered their talents to paint the pantry, creating a warm and inviting space for all who visit. We hope that this cheerful environment helps to bring smiles to our visitors' faces.

Moving Forward

The Phenie Street Pantry has been a source of security for members of the community since it first began in September of 2022. Employees of Superior Essex have been largely responsible for the pantry's ability to consistently provide food, clothing, and other materials. However, as the pantry grows, we are looking to receive donations of spare items people or organizations may have to give. Please consider making a donation, if you are able. Details on how to do so can be found below.
